See Jimmy in action on Forged in Fire, Season 7, Episode 31, Titanium Smackdown

Apprenticeships Available

In case you haven't heard, we are BLOWING UP out here. It's more work than one person can handle. We already have one amazing apprentice, we are interviewing another next week (a young female who is going to college for welding!), and we are looking to add a couple more apprentices. (Pro-tip: Apprentice means you don't get a check. Your pay is knowledge and, more importantly, experience.)

You will be exposed to:
  • metallurgy
  • welding
  • general metal fab
  • wood working
  • leather work
  • customer service
  • marketing
  • sales
  • social media management
  • maintenance and restoration (3M schedule maintenance)
  • phenolic resin casting
  • blacksmithing
  • bladesmithing,
  • general mechanical knowledge
  • CNC fab

That's not to say that you will be doing all of that. We want to place you where you fit. If you end up loving leather work and building mosaic pins, then that's where we will place you.

Requirements:

--First and foremost, you must be trainable. If you already know it all, this is not the position for you.

--You must be available 10 hours a week for a minimum of 2-hour increments at a time. (That could be two days of 5 hours or five days of 2 hours, etc.)

--Chances are, you will NOT start off doing the cool stuff. If you want to go straight to forging and knife making, we have classes available. However, you will forge a solid knife within the first 3 months.

--Our time is valuable. If you're ready to sweat, work, and learn, this is the position for you. I promise, you ain't gonna out-work us.

--All are welcome (18+). If you think you got what it takes to hang with us, bring it.
